Access Community Health

Access Community Health ("Access") is New Zealand’s second largest in-home care provider.

Access provides in-home personal care and domestic assistance to a range of elderly, injured and disabled clients, as well as in-home nursing services. Care is provided by a workforce of over 3,200 providing services to over 33,000 clients in New Zealand. Access has strong funder relationships and contracts with all the major Government funders in New Zealand.

Investment Overview

Prior to Anchorage’s acquisition, Access was a non-core operation of the existing owner. The acquisition presented an opportunity for Anchorage to implement a number of operational improvement initiatives across the business, as well as capture further growth supported by strong industry tailwinds and an increase in disability penetration via Anchorage’s affiliation with Ability First Australia.

Access is led by Chief Executive Officer, Androulla Kotrotsos.
